The company
The Company was first established in 1993 but its base started in 1974. The actual shareholders founded SUPRAFILT GmbH, already located in Bietigheim-Bissingen.
1974
SUPRAFILT GmbH brings the first plate diffuser on the market. A phenol-resin bounded plate, fixed in a stainless steel trough, that revolutionized the waste water technology.
1979
After the successful introduction of the PERMOX H plate diffuser the first membrane plate diffuser was developed, PERMOX HM. The speciality: The stainless steel trough could carry both types. SO the client was free to adapt the system according to its requirement – permanent or intermittent aeration.
1993
CONVITEC GmbH was founded to cover the demands in flotation, filtration and several other fields in environmental technology.
2001
SUPRFILT GmbH and OXYFLEX GmbH merged to become SUPRATEC GmbH, located in Bietigheim-Bissingen.
2007
CONVITEC GmbH installed for the first time fine bubble diffusers to treat flue gas in desulphurization plants of coal-fired power plants.
2011
CONVITEC GmbH received the biggest order in its company’s history. 41.500 pcs. of membrane plate diffusers were installed in a FGD-plant in Rabigh, RSA.
2012
CONVITEC GmbH established a new body concept for membrane tubular diffusers.
2013
CONVITEC and HUESKER developed a new kind of plate diffuser and presented ECOTEX in IFAT 2014, Munich.
2014
CONVITEC GmbH installed Ecoflex membrane tube diffusers to a high sensible process water treatment plant at STP Aachen.
2015
CONVITEC GmbH reaches with Ecotex Membrane bottom diffuser an oxygen transfer efficiency of 5,12 kgO2/kWh.
